$aff|1-Coffee Mini-Reviews
$fef By Dr.Dick
$fbfI like coffee, I drink far too much of it, and so I have to have a
decent jar, otherwise I just get sick of it. Here's a quick roundup of
the main blends available...
$fcf|1-Nescafe
Coffee for the masses, there's absolutely nothing wrong with this and if
made properly it can taste quite nice. It's not as smooth as some, but
then it's pretty much made to be cheap and filling. The decaf stuff is
a sadly unfulfilling affair.
Rating: 7/10
$ff1|1-Nescafe Gold Blend
A lot better than the normal stuff, this is a lot tastier and can froth
quite nicely, but for some reason I came to dislike the taste of it when
you have a lot to drink, it gets too cloying and I can find it quite
difficult to finish a full mug first thing.
Rating: 8/10
$ff0[I just did a deal to get a years supply of this stuff by trading some
Cadbury's highlights in which I get free. Not the decaf though as I
take my coffee straight! Kei]
$aff|1-Kenco Ground
Not bad at all, if you heap it up and drink it black then you almost
believe you were drinking filter coffee and not instant, but it's not as
close a comparison as the ads make out. Considering this is actually a
"normal" blend (as opposed to Gold), it's very good.
Rating: 8/10
$dff|1-Douwe Egberts Continental Gold
The coffee I drink at the moment, it's a gorgeous stuff that's about as
smooth as you can get, the taste is excellent, but it's quite expensive
and not for mass consumption, although it's difficult to resist. This
is definately my favourite.
